All paths lead to the daberer

Coming from the direction of Vienna:
Drive on the A2 autobahn from Vienna towards Graz, then in the direction of Villach. In Villach, continue on the A2 following signs for Italy. A few kilometers before the Italian border, leave the A2 and drive on the B111 towards Hermagor and Kötschach-Mauthen. Follow highway B111 to St. Daniel.

To help you get your bearings: It is about 430 km from Vienna to us (about a 4-hour drive); from Graz it is around 240 km (about a 2.5-hour drive).

Coming from the direction of Innsbruck:
Drive on the A12 autobahn as far as Wörgl. There you will first take the B170 to Kitzbühel, then the B161 to Mittersill. In Mittersill, drive on the Felbertauernstrasse B 108 (toll road – Felbertauern Tunnel € 10), which you will follow to Lienz. From Lienz, take the E66 to Oberdrauburg, continuing over the Gailberg (B110) to Kötschach-Mauthen. Now you have almost reached your destination. Simply follow the B111 towards Hermagor. The first community you come to will be our home town, St. Daniel.

To help you get your bearings: Innsbruck is about 220 km from us (about a 3-hour drive).

Coming from the direction of Salzburg:
Drive on the A10 autobahn from Salzburg in the direction of Villach. At the Spittal interchange, leave the A10 and follow the E66 towards Lienz. In Oberdrauburg, turn on the B110 and continue to Kötschach-Mauthen. Now you have almost reached your destination. Simply follow the B111 towards Hermagor. The first community you come to will be our home town, St. Daniel.

To help you get your bearings: We are about 220 km from Salzburg (about a 2-5-hour drive).

Leave your car at home and travel here by train. CO2-neutral, and at the same time very relaxing. For a car-free holiday.

• Oberdrauburg: recommended for all connections from Germany and the direction of Salzburg & Innsbruck. We would be glad to arrange a taxi for you (€ 35 up to 2 people, each additional person € 1), which will pick you up punctually.

By flying in, you lose as little of your precious holiday time as possible. Choose the airport for departure which best meets your needs. You have several choices when it comes to your arrival airport:

• Klagenfurt Airport: The Carinthian Tourist Office will provide you with a clear overview of all your flight options. 
• Ljubljana Airport: good connections from Switzerland to us
• Other airports (Salzburg, Ljubljana, Venice, … )
